By now you realize just how much performance the NetMail*400
e-mail and messaging system delivers to your AS400, and it accomplishes
this feat at a reasonable price. The Mail Delivery Sub-system is no
exception to this high-performance, low-cost algorithm. The NetMail
development team assessed the e-mail products available, identified the best
features of the market leaders, and built those features into the finest
AS/400 e-mail and messaging system available anywhere.
Not only must the mail go through, it must accommodate multiple types of
messages, provide information about the status of the message, alert the
user to errors, follow standard encoding practices, handle multiple
recipient types, and provide a way to easily accommodate future
enhancements. Furthermore, these capabilities must be included at a
reasonable cost.
